Mission
statement
To
worship God in beauty and holiness, in
spirit and in truth; to teach,
disciple, and communicate the grace of God
to the faithful; and to proclaim with
boldness the Word of God to the lost.
Our Vision
Our primary aim is to
faithfully keep, defend, and be witnesses of
the Christian Faith in our worship, teaching
and living. As Traditional Episcopalians,
we seek to fulfill
this aim in worship through the use of the
historic Book of Common Prayer; we seek to
fulfill this aim in teaching through our
commitment to the Scriptures which we
believe contains all things necessary to
salvation; and we seek to fulfill this aim
in living through prayer, discipleship, and
Christian fellowship. In order to
faithfully keep the Christian Faith we have
committed ourselves to the unchanging
historic doctrines of the Christian Church
which are embodied in the Apostles and
Nicene Creed, and in the Anglican
Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion. In
order to faithfully defend the Christian
Faith, we understand our responsibility to
be a church which challenges the philosophy
of secular humanism through every possible
means available, including, but not limited
to preaching, theological conferences, and
Christian educational literature. In
order to faithfully be a witness of the
Christian Faith, we accept our duty to make
use of, and expand as necessary, our church
facilities in order to disciple both the
young and the old who will be lights of
Christ set on a dark hill. The
property owned by this church is to be used
at all times for the highest of all
purposes-to set forth the Glory of God.
